This is late… but in my defence the last three weeks have been busy.
And lets not forget I’m forgetful…

Now where was I?
The weekend at Great Wolf Lodge we had our first mini vacation… and it was wet, wild, and fun. Really the only way to explain it… that, and lack of sleep.
This was also test for the kids to see how they react in the hotel situation… and lets just say there was a bit to much stimulation in the room for Sophie to go to sleep at her regular time. Which was a bit frustrating, but this was learning experience for us, as well as them.
We are so going back… I’m a big kid, and had a blast, and Sophie didn’t want to leave the ” big house with pool”.

The first week back at work has come and gone, and things really haven’t changed at all… people have moved around, and we’ve had one new addition to the software ranks in the building, but it’s still the same place.
I also do not like HP STREAMS, they are my primary task… there are 600 of them… 🙁
I did manage to ride the bike to work all week, that was nice. Bad thing is it really isn’t far enough away to feel like I’ve ridden anywhere, but that will change when we get the new house.

On the house note, we just got the call yesterday that the close date has been pushed back a month to Aug 20th. Weather hasn’t been all that great for building, and we also heard that one of that carpenters had a lost in the family, so things were knocked back by two weeks, but they always go the full month as a good threshold.
