It came down to the wire, but we are in the new house… OK there might be a few things here and there that are at “Joe’s” house, but it could have been worst.

We had and issue getting the occupancy permit since we were missing a railing on the second floor balcony, and since our awesome lawyer likes to cross the “t” and dot the “i”, he really didn’t want to close either since there are a bunch of things that were not completed. All superficial items, except for the safety of the railing…
Jen managed to empty all the main boxes in record time, and I got most of the large items hung or hanging (towel hoops, toilet paper holders, closet, shelving, TV, etc).
All that is left for me is the pictures, and a good clean of the garage, and basement, have this white powdery stuff on the floor that really tracks over the house, me thinks that I needs to hose the garage down to get rid of it, not sure what to do about the basement?

The kids moved great, and love the new place.
Sophie was a bit reluctant when she came home, but that all went away after she saw her room… Jen might have gone all out on it for her, and for that reaction it was well worth it. 🙂
